Loft Extension - The Survey Process

“From plans to plaster”

If you take advantage of our feasibility study, we will make an appointment for one of our surveyors to visit your property to carry out the initial survey. This will include an investigation of your current loft space to ascertain the construction type and to make sure that certain minimum dimensions are available. Your surveyor has a wealth of knowledge over a wide range of roof types and will be able to advise you on the outline of your conversion including what you intend to do with the extra room, changes to the roof line, access from the landing etc.

"No high pressure sales..."

After the initial survey and drawing, a budget costing can be provided. If this is acceptable we ask you to enter into an agreement, after which we will arrange for one of our architects to survey the premises, draw the structural plans and prepare the calculations.

Our surveyors will listen to your requirements and design a loft extension that meets your needs and budget exactly. They can also offer you an opportunity to view one of our completed projects in a property similar to yours so, you can fully appreciate what can be achieved and experience the high quality of workmanship. We offer a fully flexible service from an architects design package including plans, calculations and all relevant approvals from £2950 + vat, to part build conversions, to fully completed loft extensions including decoration, floor coverings and fitted bespoke wardrobes etc.
