There are a huge variety of roof designs in the UK and to ensure that you get the maximum from your conversion we offer a free design and feasibility study service.Modern families often need more space as the children grow up and have their own friends at home or to stay over. One option is to move house – quite a daunting task given the current economic times and depressed housing market. House prices are static at best and whilst the house that you would like to move into may seem a bit of a bargain on paper, you are going to have to market your house at an equally reduced price and it might have to be on the market for some time before attracting a potential buyer. The other option is to make more space in your current home by having the loft converted. Almost any house can have its attic converted and, even a small house will end up with at least an additional bedroom. Or those with larger houses might end up with a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, or an office/study with a shower room, or a kids playroom with toilet off.

Excellent – great job
Excellent – Bob took very good care of us and his calm manner and interest in his projects made us feel that we had made the right decision to go with Charles Grosvenor. We would certainly recommend Charles Grosvenor as we have had an excellent experience. Communication has been excellent and as a result we felt well-informed and supported throughout the project. The result is of a very high standard and the space has been enjoyed by many of our family and friends already.Mr and Mrs D. Cheltenham August 2019

We wish to take this opportunity to say how delighted we are with the loft conversion recently carried out by Charles Grosvenor. Paul, Carl and Andy were always reliable, helpful, hardworking and incredibly tolerant of all our many changes and cannot be faulted. As you know, our plans and the age of the house were somewhat of a challenge and very special thanks must go to Paul without whose knowledge and guidance there is no doubt the loft rooms, especially the semi-decagonal back dormer, would not look anywhere near as fantastic and impressive as they do. Everyone has been pleasant and professional from the girls in the office to Darren the plasterer and John the plumber. In contrast to the stories we have heard about other companies, Charles Grosvenor has restored our faith in the quality of British builders by delivering a finished product beyond our expectations whilst being totally in keeping with the character of the house and the surrounding conservation area. The quality of workmanship was consistently second to none and this was reinforced by there being virtually no snagging. All people who have seen the finished loft rooms have likewise been very impressed. We will of course recommend you to anyone considering a loft conversion and hope that our paths may cross in the future – we might just do it again! With very best wishesKaty & Julian Hough.
